Possibly because I posted a link in the body of the previous comment. You can erase these all in the name of tidyness, and I won't be offended.

Also, when I post a comment, the dialog *still* reports that my comment is "waiting moderation."

Hey Peter,

There should be a subscription dialog that can be enabled in your dashboard that allows me to enter my email address on your main blog page, and then any new post to your blog triggers a notification to my email address with a link directly to the comment reply. Check the upper right side of my blog.

www.914electric.wordpress.com

This way, the link jumps me directly to your reply, rather than requiring me to hunt and peck through the posts to see if you have responded. Thanks for your attention and support. It's very helpful to me during my conversion.

I changed the settings so that once you have an approved comment the blog will allow further comments without me intervening. I got really paranoid for a while there.

Sure, you could lower the legs. *OR* you could just have a rack built for you. If you need measurements, I'm sure we could come up with something. I'm actually a huge fan of cardboard mock-ups these days - I did it for the rear compartment to see how to layout the charger/dc-dc converter/BMS/etc. I still do not recommend going with EA - the racks took a long time to arrive.

It's usually the 914 that has the biggest issue, I haven't heard of it for other models. Most of the others are quite smooth (according to the few reports I've seen). Even with flywheel balanced, some people are STILL getting the vibration - so my guess is the motor - transmission connecting gizmo.

Yup, subscription required, and comment approval required, all due to our "friends" the spammers. May they rot in pieces.

I haven't applied any straps, as the factory didn't require it, neither did the supplier. However, I also don't take the batteries to 100%, at the advice of Elithion. So far, no swelling is noticable.

Hey Peter - Did you need to apply pressure to the batteries by wrapping a strap or similar around them? I understand they suffer from expansion during normal use over time.
